We are fancy. Or so we were described by my 4 year old niece. Before we got to her house she said "I've gotta go change!" her mom asked why and her very endearing statement was
"because ... Nanny and Aunt Kristin and Kara are coming and they are always fancy!" Needless to say she got a laugh, a great big hug from us, and many many compliments on her dress! LOL!!
This "fancy" was first instilled in me by my mother and Kara always lets me know if what I'm wearing is not cute! Oh fairy Godmother.... ya that's Kara! When I'm stuck and have no idea, or I simply want a bit of jewelry advice there she is my fairy Godmother of fashion ready to twirl her wand and convert her (sometimes less than couture) sister. My "younger" sister Kara has probably shaped my tastes and opinions more than I realised. Her interest and talent in the fashion industry has brought to my art something dramatic and elegant that may very well have been lacking if it were not for her, ever present, always helpful, expert advice! Thanks KK!
