A great Vintage car to transfer our bride and groom from the Church to the Reception was a particularly lovely touch of interest! It also gave us something fun to work around with the wedding party. Nothing quite like an antique shiny car with a bride and groom riding in the back seat and just a smiling out the back window!
Close ups capture the emotion in of a moment and the wide angles of a scene capture the grandeur and drama. Images like this become so important to me, they are more my favorites for the relationship that they show between the members of a family and friends.
A Champagne toast before the Bride and Groom depart is a nice touch, but it didn't cross my mind that the groom would want to make a dramatic "splash" for the ending. Since I was about 3 feet from the groom I got a lovely dose of champagne foam all over me! But as long as we got this awesome action shot of champagne, we happy photographers!
There are all kinds of choices for leaving a ceremony... slow, fast, day time, night, bird seed, bubbles, rose petals... but I think it can be said that the most dramatic are sparklers!
