Sock Monkey

The bond between a little boy and his sock monkey can be a very photogenic thing!  The monkey would stay upright for a few seconds and then topple down on top of his adorable laughing little owner!  And of course to get back at his monkey our little friend would lurch at the sock monkey and pin him to the ground.

For a weeks on end (or so it seemed) it rained, poured, and was perpetually grey outside.  Then all of a sudden it seemed as if Spring had sprung... in the middle of February. ???  You can see in these portraits how wonderfully golden and warm the light was. 

The connection in these pictures makes my heart melt!  This photoshoot just shows me once again how much I love Child portraits, they are so honest and simple, with the ability to touch anyone!
