DYW 2013

   Oh!   What a night it has been!  Another year of Distinguished Young Women has come and gone... another night of  graceful, elegant, poised girls who stepped on stage to make their mark on the world.   The comradery that exists between these girls became immediately evident to me as I was photographing these ladies, who were excitedly preparing for their big night.

     Kit and Sheree work so hard with all of these girls to push them to be their very best self every year.   They pour their hearts into this program, making it a success every single year!

   We had an array of talented girls in DYW this year with their performances ranging from, tap or lyrical, to classical piano, pointe, and singing!

     The Emerald City Dance Explosion also provided entertainment this night performing a lovely emotional dance!

     Bethany Mlinar and Tori McDonald, winners of last year's DYW, relinquished their titles to Raine Templeton- Bradley and Kristen White.  To see the joy and excitement on these girls' faces was such fun!    Congratulations to all of you wonderful girls, you were magnificent, and thank you for allowing us to photograph these memorable times for you!   We can't wait to see where you will all go next!
